Application for certification of the South Australian rail access regime (Final recommendation and decision)

On 26 July 2011 the Commonwealth Minister released his decision to certify the South Australian Rail Access Regime under the Competition and Consumer Act for 10 years, in accordance with the Council's final recommendation.  

On 27 May 2011 the Council provided its final recommendation to the designated Minister, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, the Hon David Bradbury MP, on the South Australian Government's application for certification of the South Australian rail access regime. The Council recommended that the South Australian Rail Access Regime be certified as an effective access regime for a period of 10 years (the Council's final recommendation was made public when the Commonwealth Minister released his decision).
