Application for light regulation of the Allgas Gas Distribution Network (Application)
On 27 January 2015, Allgas Energy Pty Ltd applied to the Council for a light regulation determination for the covered Allgas Gas Distribution Network (AGDN). This network distributes gas to southern Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads and Banora Point in north east New South Wales, and the Toowoomba and Oakey townships.

The Council will commence its formal consideration of this application on Monday 2 February 2015 with public notice of the application and an invitation for submissions appearing in that day’s Australian newspaper.
The period for interested parties to make submissions on the application will close at 5pm on Monday 23 February 2015.
Submissions should be sent by email to gas@ncc.gov.au. Parties considering including confidential information in a submission should discuss this with the Council’s staff prior to doing so.

After it has considered the application and submissions the Council will publish a draft decision and seek further submissions prior to making a final decision on whether to make a light regulation determination in respect of the AGDN. The Council is required to make its decision on this application within 4 months of receiving the application.
